Best Place to Watch Astros Games

You may think watching sports at home is second best to the real thing, but you may want to think again. How many of those home-viewing experiences have been memorable? If the answer is not many, then Home Run Dugout is here to save the day!

Home Run Dugout can help get your head in the game by immersing yourself in one of our 22 Simulated Batting Bays or our Beer Garden Baseball Field to bring the game to you. You can even choose Minute Maid Park to be a true Astro, or choose from another big league ballpark for a new experience. What’s better than just watching the game? Being on the roster too!

If you’re not already convinced, we have 6 reasons below to show you why Home Run Dugout does it better.

Why Watching the Game at a Sports Bar is Better

1. You Don’t Have to Cook

We’ve got your bases covered with the ballpark classics like our Bases Loaded Nachos or The Ballpark hot dog as well as some specialties such as our Truffled Patty Melt or Tuna Poke Bowl.

For the sweet to your savory, we have 3 delicious desserts sure to satisfy. Our Churros are a unique crowd pleaser but you can’t go wrong with a Classic Float (made with local rootbeer!) or a Brownie Sundae topped with Crackerjack for the love of the game!

Check out all of your options here to see our mouth-watering menu in its entirety.

2. Meet New Friends or Rally Your Crew

America’s favorite pastime brings everyone together as strangers and friends alike can join in on the friendly banter and heckling that comes with the territory of sports. Let the atmosphere elevate the intensity of the game.

Rally your friends for some light-hearted fun or socialize with the crowd as you enjoy a memorable night. Maybe you and your newfound friends will even grab a bay together for some competition of your own!

3. Variety of Drinks and Deals

Your thirst will always be quenched by our extensive drink menu and your wallet will be pleased with our happy hour deals. Try one of our 40+ craft beers, a glass of wine, pop some bubbly, or enjoy a craft or frozen cocktail.

No buzz? No problem! We also offer a wide variety of non-alcoholic beverages so that everyone can have a fun, flavorful choice. Try out a classic like Heineken 0.0 or try a more unique offering like Athletic Brewing Company’s Free Wave or Run Wild IPAs!

But wait… there’s more drink deals! I mean, who can really get tired of hearing that? During all Astros games, we are offering $3 Crawford Bock beers that pair perfectly with our ballpark hot dogs!

4. Avoid the Game Day Traveling Hassles

No need to fret about game day traffic and parking. Located in Katy, Home Run Dugout is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of game day hassles such as high parking fees, long walking distances, and heavy traffic.

Unwind and relax while enjoying the pros of game day while avoiding the cons.

5. You’ll Get a Better View of the Game

Our giant flat screen TVs bring the game directly to you, so you don’t have to worry about bringing the binoculars! You can get all angles and won’t have to miss a thing with the replays making sure you catch all the action.

6. You Can Bring your Furry Friends

Although pets are not allowed in the batting bays for safety purposes, you are welcome to bring your furry friend onto our patio to catch some rays to cheer on the Astros together!
